Hey boys, I keep hearing "rumorettes" that Philly is more concerned about Nabb's injury proneness and inability to play a full season and that they might be making plans to replace him. Is there any validity to that or do you think it's just the "talking heads" doing what they do best by making news when there really is none? MCF

YET But if he goes down next year, the look to see it.

I haven't heard anything about that. I did hear that the surgery went well and he should be back in action some time next year. I think he'll be all right, but if he suffers another serious injury maybe we should start looking at potential successors.
I just don't think this is the time to do it, though. Aside from Troy Smith and Brady Quinn, I don't know what college QBs will be available in the draft. But I doubt the Eagles will draft a QB early anyway. As for free agents, I know Byron Leftwich could be available but I wouldn't take him over McNabb. Other than that, I'm not really sure. I don't think the Eagles are planning on replacing McNabb any time soon, though, so I guess whoever's available doesn't matter much.
Not unless New England wants to trade Tom Brady, that is. ;D
